PBTIF Members meet The President of Pakistan

Sir Thomas Harris, Chair, Pakistan Britain Trade and Investment Forum (PBTIF) and Vice Chair, Capital Markets for Standard Chartered, along with eight other UK business representatives accompanied Martin Donnelly, Permanent Secretary at the Department for Business Innovation and Skills, to a meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari on 30 June to discuss trade and investment opportunities and share views on the market. 

Also present at the meeting were His Excellency Wajid Shamsul Hasan, Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK , who is a regular contributor at PBTIF meetings, and His Excellency Adam Thomson, UK High Commissioner to Pakistan . Zameer  Choudrey, Chief Executive of Bestway Group, and PBTIF Vice Chair, and Philip Bouverat from JCB, also a PBTIF member, were part of the business group.
